7mm - suitable for fine necklace chains and very fine bracelets. Good for nimble fingers, a bit tricky if you aren’t used to opening and closing small clasps. Recommend soldering if wearing everyday.
8mm - great for fine chains but if you like ease of opening and closing and good size for standard chains. Still a bit small…Recommend soldering if wearing everyday.
10mm - good for standard chains and bracelets, usually pretty easy to use. recommend soldering
12mm - Only suitable for medium to medium - heavy weight chain. Not suitable, for heavy chains or bracelets as the curved part of the clasp can still be pulled open under good force. Highly recommend soldering
